AJ, making a career change in today’s economy can be nerve-wracking. Can you share your motivation?
Sure. Well, the key reason for me is the timing in my life. I’ve been fortunate to achieve my prior professional goals sooner than expected. I have a passion for sales that’s rooted in daily interaction with new, unique people. There’s nothing better than being in real estate. I get to facilitate plus create ease for home buyers during their home purchase process. CityScape has figured out how to create the perfect environment for anyone choosing a real estate based career move.

New construction vs homes for resale. How would you describe advantages for both in our current “sellers” market?
Low interest rates remain attractive to motivated buyers that want to move whether into an existing home or new build. New home construction has an accelerated appeal because it lets a buyer skip past today’s competitive, multiple offer dynamic that we continue to see in the resale home market. If timing and more immediate occupancy are important, resales might be your choice. If so, work hand in hand with a real estate agent that you trust, that will move fast, and has demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills.
